Baited Brown Bear in AlaskaPLEASE NOTE: The season for baited brown bear is Though mid April through October. However, we will only book hunts when the opportunity is high and the bear hides are good.

SUCCESS: Our baited brown bear hunts are extremely successful. In fact, since Alaska began to allow hunting brown bear over bait, we have boasted 100% opportunities for all our hunters with multiple to many opportunities for all our past hunters to date. Although we cannot guarantee specific numbers, our hunters have seen several bears daily and some days the baits are VERY busy especially during the month of June.  This does not mean we guarantee success, but our history will show you how good our hunts are. Come experience a high success, exciting hunt!

ARRIVAL: Once you get to Anchorage, you can rent a car at the airport and take a scenic drive north 100 miles (about 1 1/2 hour drive) through beautiful Chugach Mountains to meet up with us.

BEFORE THE HUNT: Before the baited brown bear hunting adventure, we will have you shoot your gun or bow to make sure that it’s zeroed in. We recommend arriving to Alaska 1 day before your hunt to be refreshed and ready. Alaska law does allow hunting the same day you fly on baited hunts. We will arrive at brown bear camp the same day we hunt.

Alaska Baited Brown Bear Hunting

Enjoy an extremely successful brown bear hunt with Alaska’s Ultimate Trophy Hunting! We run our Alaska baited black bear hunts in Unit 16 and 14B.  New state laws are allowing for first time non-residents to hunt brown bear over bait! We are not sure how long this will be available for non-residents. So it’s best to book your hunt now! The State of Alaska opened only certain areas to baiting brown bear. Some of these bears have NEVER been hunted due to the thick forest and vegetation in those areas. There are a few bears each year that qualify for Boone and Crocket and SCI. There are plenty of monster bears that will go 9-10 foot. Because the thick areas are not optimal for spot and stalk methods, these newly opened thick areas really hold a high concentration of bear.

14-B game management area was added for the first time ever for baiting brown bear over bait a few years ago! These monster brown bears have been coming into our black bear baits eating with no fear, running off all black bears. It’s exciting to as it’s now legal to harvest these giant brown bears at a legal registered bait site. We use permanent tree stands and metal 2 man heavy duty ladder stand that are 16’ off the ground. The stands are very large and have plenty of room for two. We set up our baited brown bear stands for both bow and gun hunters. Baits are 20-30 yards from stand. We have been baiting in these areas for years.  There is certainly lots of opportunity for pictures and videoing bears as they come and go to and from bait sites.

WHY US? We want to provide the best hunt possible at the best price. We challenge you to find another outfitter that offers a baited brown bear hunt in Alaska at a better price.  Chances are you won’t! Most of these hunts run $15,000 – $18,000 with other outfitters in similar locations. We will only take a maximum of 6 baited brown bear hunts for the season. We certainly have the game to take much more, but we like to preserve our hunting locations to have true trophy brown bears for our clients. Rest assured there is nothing “cheap” about this hunt. We hunt some of the best areas that Alaska has to offer. As always we NEVER HAVE ANY TROPHY FEES OR HIDDEN COSTS. Book your baited hunt today!
