TESTIMONIALS

“I've always been an avid hunter and have enjoyed many hunts, in many states, however I have always dreamed of hunting big game in a remote area of Alaska. When I talked to Roy Blackwell, and heard all his stories of his hunting adventures. I knew I needed to make my dream reality. In 2017 my dream in fact became a reality when I flew to Alaska as a client of Alaska's Ultimate Trophy Hunting. I had very high expectations of my 2 weeks in Alaska and I'm here to say " not only did they meet my expectations they surpassed them." The trip was highly organized and well planned. Thanks Roy, I have a great trophy hanging on my wall. This was a trip of a life time!!”
– Brandon, Arizona

“If you're looking for a hunt of a lifetime, this is the outfitter that will make your dreams a reality. Hands down they lived up to their standards and exceeded our expectations. The friendly, outgoing and professional guides made our hunt very special and will be embedded in our hearts and minds forever!!”
– Mike Wilson, ID

“Thank you for a great hunt and a lifetime of memories, I tagged a beautiful black bear. All after great stalks, black bear was shot within 50 yards. Guide Roy worked so hard and was great company! Food was top notch. Thanks for a great hunt!”
– Robert H, Colorado

“They did a great job from start to finish and I had a wonderful experience, a fantastic, professional outfitter, highly recommended. As their motto says "come as a client and leave as a friend."”
– Brent, WA

“Hello Roy, Susan and I wanted to thank you for the fantastic time you were able to provide for us on our recent bear hunt. From arriving at camp until we got back to Anchorage you were outstanding. I could not have selected a better guide service. We will return for another hunt with you.”
– John/Susan, Colorado

“I hunted with Alaska's Ultimate Trophy Hunting and was guided by Roy Blackwell, he was knowledgeable and experienced in guiding. The quality and abundance of the food provided was above what I had anticipated for a back country hunt. A shower and latrine were in camp, which was so nice. I tagged a nice grizzly bear, which is now a bear rug in my man cave. I was very pleased and hope to return and hunt with Roy again.”
– Nathan

“I can't say enough about Roy and Alaska Ultimate Trophy Hunting. This outfitter knows his stuff and has a great operation with tons of game and opportunity for sure. I haven't seen an outfitter this much integrity, sincerity and eager to share the "Alaska experience" with the average blue collar hunter as much as Roy. They have a superb opportunity to harvest great bears. I saw many black bears everytime I hunted with him as well as brown bears. If you want a baited brown bear hunt there is no one that does it better!”
– Jason Z

“Thank you Roy, for a fantastic brown bear hunt, his knowledge of the area and ability to judge the size of the bears was top notch!”
– Ben W

“Hello Roy and Kim, just dropping a note to let you know how much I appreciated my Alaskan adventure. My 2017 grizzly/black bear combo hunt was my first trip to Alaska and I couldn't have picked a better outfitter. Roy did a great job of guiding the hunt to a successful conclusion. And the hunt camp was wonderful and food was very good and plenty of it, never went hungry. I look forward to a return trip!”
– Thomas Jones Jr

“Roy is top notch! Everything about the trip was first class! I would not think of going to Alaska and hunting with anyone else, Roy has made a little boy's dream of hunting Alaska for 60 years come true. Thanks Roy!”
– Mike Perkins, KY
